Quick Reminder – One week until my planning class! I still have spots available (click here for tickets!), and I’ll be on Facebook Live again today talking about my bullet journal planner vs. other planners. Check it out if you’re interested!
Is it possible that my body has it’s own trimester schedule? Because a couple of weeks before my 2nd Trimester I started feeling leagues and leagues better – liking Diet Coke again, sleeping better, having energy, just… better. I’m almost 28 weeks and it’s exciting to be in/near the third trimester (I have 3 pregnancy apps and they each define the third trimester differently – 26/27/28 weeks? Idk). But again, about 2-3 weeks ago my body started changing and experiencing a totally different set of symptoms.
Dress: Old Navy, Cardigan: Target, Boots: Aldo
Druzy necklace from Hey June
Obsessed with this chambray maternity dress – scored it on clearance! Turns out it gets wrinkled after 3 hours of church with a toddler though. #momlife
+ My weight gain, which has to this point been really gradual and careful… all of a sudden BAM. I put on a ton of weight 2 weeks in a row. Yikes.
+ Welcome back, heartburn my old companion. But you’re not welcome.
+ Dehydrated like your food storage. I swear I didn’t stop drinking fluids, but it’s like my body thought I did.
+ Limited sleep. I feel pretty good if my body will sleep for 6 hours.
+ Sciatica booooo. It’s still way better than SPD but dang.
+ My bump is suddenly super tight, super hard, super heavy. I want to just buzz in there real quick and be like “Hey. Cool it. We’ve got like 3 months left to go.”
+ Also? She’s totally sideways and sticking her butt out. My bump is so lopsided. If you see me just ask – I’ll rub your hand over her and as you repeatedly to empathize with how weird and lumpy she feels. You’ll love it.
+ Nesting! I just want to ditch everything in my house, pour bleach over every surface, buy softer, nicer, newer things. I bought a few things for baby girl and started a little hospital bag pile (!!!!!).
+ If you ever have to witness me get up off a couch or bed or the floor, just please turn away for the sake of my feelings/embarrassment.
Just a few weeks ago I was feeling fit and fly. Weight gain was looking great, I was exercising, not waddling, needing no medication or special self-care… second trimester you were real nice.
And then… all that crap. Hence my theory that my trimesters present themselves early. Please let me pass my glucose test. Please don’t laugh at me when u see me on tha streets. Because we’ve got 3 months worth of this just getting better/worse.

Loving this look! You look so good!!!
You look so adorable! And I’ve been putting on a lot of weight this trimester, too, even though I eat well and I exercise. Sigh!!!!! I’m the heaviest I’ve ever been in my entire life, even heavier than I was when I gave birth to Rhys!!
You are looking great! I feel you on all the weird and not so fun pregnancy symptoms. I am ready for this baby to get the heck out of me.
