I’m sitting here on Tuesday night with no ideas and no draft for tomorrow’s post. And for some reason all I can think about are my favorite foods at Disneyland. So this is our topic for today. A lot of these are pretty #basic, but we’ve also found a few hidden treasures in the last year. For more info check out Disney Food Blog and use a bib to contain your drool.
Meals
Tortilla Joes in Downtown Disney – this is good Mexican food and sometimes it’s just nice to get out of the park and sit where they will bring you icy Diet Cokes. Tableside Guac is 100 emoji.
Lucky Fortune Cookery in CA – this is one of three good walk-up restaurants on the pier (Pacific Wharf Cafe and Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill are the others). We like eating here because everyone can get what they want and we can all sit together like in a food court. I love the chicken coconut curry bowl!
Galactic Grill in Disneyland – sometimes you just need a burger and fries! I was actually really impressed by these fries and it’s a pretty affordable option.
Blue Bayou or Cafe Orleans in Disneyland – Cafe Orleans is a cheaper option, but you can’t beat the environment of Blue Bayou! Gumbo is delicious, and Ryan loves the Monte Cristo sandwich.
Jolly Holiday Bakery in Disneyland – I LOVE the grilled cheese and tomato basil soup meal. It’s delicious and always hits the spot.
Snacks
Mangoes – You can get these at stands throughout the park. Spritz with the lime wedge and sprinkle with the Tajin spice. Trust me.
Popcorn – duh. If you’re an annual passholder you can buy a reusable bucket and refills are only a dollar! Reese obviously enjoyed it.
Pommes Frites from Cafe Orleans – these are life changing garlic fries with an amazing fry sauce. Do not miss.
Cozy Cones in CA – right near Carsland there are these cones with a plethora of delicious snack options. Ryan love the Mac n Cheese cone, I love the garlic bagel twist, and the Redd’s Frozen Apple slush tastes like a caramel apple slurpee. LOVE.
Jolly Holiday in Disneyland – Croissants! I grab these for breakfast and anytime I just want a little light snack. They’re so buttery and delicious!
Turkey Leg – I can only stand about 2 bites, but they’re Ryan’s favorite.
Treats
Mickey Macaron at Jolly Holiday – They do seasonal flavors, but the raspberry is amazing.
Mint Julep Bar in Frontierland – Mickey Beignets and a fresh mint julep is all you ever need.
Dole Whip – obvi no explanation needed
Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor – There’s something magical about walking down Main Street with a huge delicious ice cream cone.

I’m so glad you wrote this! I was telling my friend just last week that I need a list of the best things/places to eat there. When we went it was only for one day and there was SO much running around trying to fit everything in that we totally missed out on the food experience and I am pretty bummed about that. So I am going to make sure we check out more places and have more time next time we go
Turkey legs! YES! And, I LOVED the Blue Bayou! DELICIOUS!
[…] Scope out the restaurants you want to try while you’re there. Disneyland is very baby/kid friendly, but some places are obviously more baby/kid friendly than others. I’m not saying you should skip out on a restaurant you really want to try – it’s just that they sometimes take more time and effort, so we ended up only doing one “real” restaurant a day, or every other day. Prioritize where you want to go. (My favorite Disney foods here.) […]
