(Points for getting that reference.) Ok so it isn’t actually even a one-way petting zoo. But the Thanksgiving Point farm is still pretty cute. In fact I prefer zero animal petting at all, if I’m being honest. Fun Fact about Danica: I really don’t like animals. I like dogs, and mostly just small lap dogs at that. Cows and horses? Nope. Chickens? Hard pass. Reptiles of any kind? GTFO.
I’m always good with a Lil Sebastian, though. I’m not a barbarian.
But walking around paved animal pens with a Diet Coke and my best friend on a gorgeous spring day? I’ll take it. The Thanksgiving Point Farm is Danica Approved.
Reese pointed at every single animal and yelled “To-to!” over and over again. If you’re new here that’s what Reese calls our dog – Glen Coco – and every other creature in the animal kingdom, it turns out. She had a lot of “oooooooh!”s and “Wooooowwwww”s to pepper in too. We’ve also been working on “peek-a-boo” and she covers her eyes instead of her ears about 60% of the time.
She liked the window of baby chicks the best. They even got kisses! (ew)
Katie and her kiddos are just the cutest. Eva is such a good big sister and is always so sweet with Reese. Finn is not my biggest fan. Some gentlemen just don’t prefer blonds I guess. I did get that one good giggle out of him, though.
We took a walk through the gardens and this kid didn’t want to have anything to do with anything other than mulch & dirt. Eye roll emoji.
Beautiful day. I’m sure we’ll be back again soon. Mostly just so I can continue practicing being awful with my camera.

How fun! I am seriously considering a Thanksgiving Point pass for the family!
