You guys. YOU GUYS. I worked so hard to manage my expectations these last few months. I only watched the trailers once. I didn’t read any hype or spoilers or articles or anything. But still somehow as we were driving downtown last night to see it for Ryan’s work Christmas party I was just trippin’. What if I hated it? What if it was another Episodes 1-3? (They’re fine; they’re just NOT the originals.)

I can now tell you with certainty that this is an instant classic. It was SO. GOOD. J.J. Abrams offered Episode 7 as an apology for what Episodes 1-3 were not. I felt like I had seen this movie before – and in the best way. It felt comfortable. It felt familiar. It felt like home. I’m literally crying as I type this.

But the good news for you regular people – you’ll like it too! I promise! It was just IN GENERAL a great movie. Just like the originals were. Good story, great characters, interesting conflict, funny dialog, captivating action. Even if you aren’t into Star Wars – go see it. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Also LOOK AT REESE’S SHOES. A friend tagged me in an Instagram post by this incredible artist over the summer when she saw these shoes and I couldn’t click “purchase” fast enough. Reese finally fits into them – just in time for Episode 7! It’s a Christmas Miracle! They’re SO FREAKING CUTE I JUST STARE AT THEM. If you’re into Star Wars, or any fandom really – she does tons of stuff! – you need to follow her Insta because her stuff goes up and sells out so fast!

Sorry this outfit post isn’t super “Christmassy” but I just couldn’t help myself. Go see Star Wars this weekend and let me know what you think! And if you aren’t “into” Star Wars I’m gonna need you to watch this and rethink your life.
