Church during Christmastime is the best because we get to sing all the awesome Christmas hymns! It also helps that we only have a handful of Sundays left of 9 am church. The church is just more true at 11 am. That’s in the Bible.

Anyway, this is my Outfit #3 for #12OutfitsofChristmas – a holiday look for church! Simple festive red dress (H&M), lace tights (Nordstrom), black pumps (Forever Young) and loose curls (thank you Conair hot rollers for being fast and easy on sleepy Sunday mornings!). Church is not the place to wear something overly trendy or flashy, so I almost always opt for a dress, dark tights, and conservative heels. Ain’t nobody got time for too many layers or fancy new pieces.

This dress made me a little sad. It used to be my Jessica Rabbit dress. You know? That dress that you put on that always makes you feel like the 100 emoji? Pre-Pregnancy Danica felt like the 100 emoji in this dress. Post-Pregnancy Danica feels like the See No Evil/Cover Your Eyes Monkey emoji in this dress. It’s ok, though. It just means I get to go shopping for a new red dress that looks better on this body.

Ok but Reese though. I bought this sweater dress AGES ago and I’ve been dying to put her in it. As you might be able to tell, it’s still way too big but I LOVE IT.

Sweater Dress: Old Navy, Tights: Old Navy, Bow: The Barber Shoppe

We spend quite a bit of time in the foyer now, and my primary class basically only gets through reading the scripture story each week. Reese is just too distracting, and The Beard (oh he shaved his beard by the way, did you see it? Ah!) teaches at the same time as me so… sorry everyone. There will be a little screamy giggler in primary for the forseeable future. 

This week we have Stake Conference (which we don’t even want to attempt with Reese this time around… #jackmormons), so instead we’ll be watching The First Presidency Christmas Devotional which aired last Sunday. Then just one week before Christmas and one week after Christmas and THEN the Christmas miracle of 11 am church will be under my tree. #blessed

Also let’s not forget the true meaning of Christmas. Watching Christmas Vacation with a chocolate orange. Just kidding, a little bit.
