Ok here goes nothing! My first outfit of my 12 Outfits of Christmas! (RELATED: Anyone want to give me some outfit-photo-taking-tips? I hate these and I’m bad at this.) My girl Nichole is also posting a holiday outfit on her blog today – Go check it out!
Tunic sweater – H&M, Leggings – Victoria’s Secret Pink, Leather Boots – Chinese Laundry, Necklace – F21, Watch – Michael Kors
Reese’s Outfit – H&M, Bow – Yasmi & Crew
Girls Nights are fun to dress for because you can be a little funky and daring with new things – your girlfriends get it and appreciate it. Hence attempt #35 at the “Blogger Half Bun” hairstyle. Still not sure if I like it/figured it out/look crazy.
But you also don’t need to try that hard. Girls Nights are about fun and comfort. Hence the leggings and loose tunic.
I wore this to a girls night party thrown by my best friend Katie. Everyone made a Christmas craft to give away for a White Elephant/Yankee Swap/Nasty Christmas game. I was reallll nervous at first because I am terrible at crafting and being artistic. I have a whole Pinterest board of Christmas ideas (below), mostly crafts, which I’ve clearly never attempted. But I saw this ornament magnet idea on Pinterest and thought it looked reasonable. I had these tubes of cheap cute ornaments from the Target One Spot last year, and a glue gun The Beard got me forever ago. It was meant to be.

It was really easy and ended up being really cute! And useful – they’ll be holding up all of the Christmas cards we receive this month! This definitely increased my confidence in my crafting abilities. The party was super fun as well – maybe I’ll host one for another holiday sometime next year! It was a perfect way to kick off the holiday party season. 🙂 Join this party! Share your holiday outfits over the next couple of weeks (I’ll be posting every weekday from now until the 23rd) by linking up at the bottom of my posts and sharing on social media with the hashtag #12OutfitsofChristmas and I’ll share some of my favorites!
