When my cute friend Brooke invited me to participate in another one of these I couldn’t say yes fast enough. I love seeing how everyone else interprets the outfit, and as a SAHM I often don’t have a reason to plan and dress an entire outfit. The standard leggings and boyfriend tees do just fine for my Target + Sodalicious errands. Probably the only thing I really miss about teaching is the daily challenge of wearing something I haven’t worn before for 180 days straight. I mean, I don’t miss it all that bad because… leggings and boyfriend tees. Still, it’s so nice to have a fashion challenge from time to time!
My first thought when Brooke sent me this inspiration pic was “I’ve worn that exact outfit before.” And I basically have. Fun Fact: I actually changed a tire in this outfit last year on my lunch break, no big deal. White skirt and all. (Also Danica the n00b finally figured out how to use her new camera, which is good because The Beard was basically on outfit photographer strike. But that’s it. I threw them right up here. Seriously it is the best polished spring/summer look: button-down chambray, breezy skirt, flirty neutral heels. I belted mine but still somehow managed to look like a giant column. And yeah, the white skirt definitely calls a little too much attention to these child-bearing hips that just bore a child. But whatever, who cares because LOOK at that child!!! Yeah I make her match me always.

Seriously, I think I have to swear off high-waisted, tucked-in skirts for good now, but you are rocking it like you never even had a baby bump. Goals. Major goals right here.
