7 Facts about Dholdy

1. According to my husband my signature dish – the thing I make the best – is popcorn. I’m not denying it but it is pretty sad.
2. I went on a Study Abroad to the United Kingdom in 2010 and it was one of the very best decisions of my life.
3. I’m a recovering monochromatic outfit addict – head to toe black is still my natural choice. Especially now that I’m huge and tired. Trying hard to mix it up though.
4. My baby girl is due on February 5th and I’m feeling ok about that, or a later date, for delivery. I haven’t got my hopes up at all for early delivery. My pregnancy has been pretty freaking fantastic, so here’s hoping it continues through labor and delivery.
5. If I could be described as anything I think I’d probably want it to be “funny.” Like any girl, I love being told I’m pretty. Of course I want people to think I’m smart. But I think I’d choose funny. No compliments make me feel better than those ones.
6. I teach Valiant 10 in Primary and weirdly I think I’m starting to like it?
7. Thursday, January 22 is my last day of teaching. 4 years. 800+ kids. Countless cuss words and drawings of genitalia. Tears. Smiles. Happiness. And no regrets.

I’m due pretty soon, y’all. My niece Lillie is crazy excited about it (below is a pic from our family bingo party on Monday, when she just wanted to sit by her cousin and feel her kick. Adorbs.) She’s excited to teach Baby Holdy how to play Just Dance and go down the slide. She thinks we should name her Bee. We’ll see.

Anyways. I will be understandably quiet on the blog front after baby girl gets here, to be sure. I don’t want to leave anyone hanging, though. I’ll be having some friends and bloggers guest post a few times a week for me while I’m down and out.
